For all string players interested in joining the WVU Symphony Orchestra in Fall 2025:

Please refer to the files below for the required audition music. For required excerpts, please make sure to familiarize yourself with the piece and the appropriate tempo and style as part of your preparation.

Time

Auditions will be held on Monday, August 18 from 5 - 7:30 p.m. [Violin, Viola, Bass] and Tuesday, August 19 from 4 - 5 p.m. [Cello] in room 2111. In order to sign up for an audition and secure an audition slot, please complete the registration form. You will then get a confirmation message with a link to sign up for an audition time slot. If you have a conflict with the times listed above, please email Dr. Weinberg
