Auditions
For all string players interested in joining the WVU Symphony Orchestra in Fall 2024, Please refer to the files below for the required audition music. For required excerpts, please make sure to familiarize yourself with the piece and the appropriate tempo and style as part of your preparation.Additional audition information for wind/brass/percussion can be found at
bands.wvu.edu/join.
Auditions will be help on Monday, August 19, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. in room 2111. In order to sign up for an audition and secure an audition slot, please fill out the Audition Sign Up form. Once you fill out the form you will see a link to schedule your audition slot.
